Qualificações

• MSN from an accredited institution preferred, with BRN requirements for nursing faculty.
• Current, active California RN license in good standing.
• Relevant nursing experience and demonstrated knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
• Prior nursing education or classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate current knowledge of evidence-based pharmacology and medication safety principles.
• Must meet applicable California BRN requirements and institutional qualifications for the assigned teaching responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-campus classroom instruction in nursing pharmacology for the ADN program.
• Teach pharmacological principles, including pharmacokinetics and nursing implications.
• Develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments to support student learning.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback to promote success.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Nursing and faculty to maintain curriculum alignment.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
