Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI invites applications for a full-time 12-month faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences, focused on pharmacology. Rank: Assistant, Associate, or Professor. Start date: August 1, 2027.

Eligible candidate will conduct research and teach in Pharmacology and related areas. The role includes mentoring students, developing a robust research program, and seeking external support for scholarship.

Qualifications

Must hold an earned doctorate (PhD, DSc, MD, DO, DVM or equivalent) in pharmacology or a closely related field.
Candidates applying directly from a postdoctoral position will be considered.
Concordia University faculty must be active members of Christian congregations.

Responsibilities

Teaching within the Pharmaceutical Sciences area with strong pedagogical and student evaluation skills.
Teaching in other content areas as assigned based on expertise.
Advising and mentoring students academically and on scholarly projects.
Develop a robust research/scholarship program in the applicant's major field of interest.
Actively pursue external support for scholarship.
Serve the School of Pharmacy, University, Community and Profession.
Contribute to other related duties as assigned.
