Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI invites applications for a full-time 12-month faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences, focusing on pharmacology. The eligible candidate will conduct research and teach across pharmaceutical sciences and related areas, with start date August 1, 2027.

Responsibilities include mentoring students, developing a robust scholarship program, pursuing external funding, and serving the School, University, and profession.

Qualifications

• Must hold an earned doctorate (PhD, DSc, MD, DO, DVM or equivalent) in pharmacology or a closely related field.
• Candidates applying directly from a postdoctoral position will be considered.
• Concordia University faculty must be active members of Christian congregations.

Responsibilities

• Teaching within the Pharmaceutical Sciences area with strong pedagogical and student evaluation skills.
• Advising and mentoring students academically and on scholarly projects.
• Development of a robust research/scholarship program in the applicant's major field of interest.
• Actively pursue external support for scholarship.
• Service to the School of Pharmacy, University, Community and Profession.
