Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison invites applications for a 12-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the CliPIR division of the School of Pharmacy. The candidate will build an independent research program, teach PharmD students, mentor graduate students, and engage in interdisciplinary scholarship and service.

Emphasis is on health services research, health policy, and pharmaco-epidemiology with opportunities to mentor underrepresented scholars

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in public health policy, health services research, pharmaco-epidemiology, or related field.
• Assistant-professor candidates: potential to establish independent, externally funded research program and teach at PharmD and graduate level.
• Associate or full-professor candidates: sustained extramural grant support, research, scholarship, and teaching proficiency meeting tenure criteria at UW–Madison.

Responsibilities

• Develop an independent research program and secure external funding.
• Teach PharmD students in the professional program and contribute to elective courses as needed.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students in the Health Services Research in Pharmacy (HSRP) program.
• Conduct collaborative scholarship and participate in graduate program teaching.
• Serve on school, university, or professional organization committees.
• Engage in service to the school, university, and profession.
