OneOme is seeking a Molecular Technologist to work closely with laboratory staff and cross‑functional teams in support of pharmacogenomics testing operations. This role is responsible for several phases of the testing workflow, including sample accessioning, DNA extraction, real‑time PCR, and data analysis.

The Molecular Technologist performs high‑complexity clinical molecular testing in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related biology field.
• At least 3 years of laboratory experience with molecular testing.
• Experience with DNA extraction, real‑time PCR, and SNP genotyping.
• Knowledge of laboratory automation and validation activities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform sample accessioning, DNA extraction, PCR testing, and data review per SOPs.
• Conduct high‑complexity clinical molecular testing per regulations and quality standards.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities, record maintenance, and audits.
• Support assay development, workflow optimization, validations, and software verification testing.
• Develop written technical content for procedures and white papers.
• Assist with clerical duties, inventory control, client service tasks, and other responsibilities.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and other departments to support operational excellence.
• Maintain flexibility to cover weekend shifts.
