Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to join its award-winning, state-of-the-art team in Atlanta and beyond. The OR Pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical services and drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers, ensuring safe, effective therapy across patient populations from neonates to geriatrics.

The role supports varied 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday and every 4th weekend, with preference for candidates who have hospital pharmacy experience or retail pharmacy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience in retail pharmacy practice preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers.
• Advises on drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure safe and optimal drug therapy.
• Serves all patients from neonates to geriatrics.
• The OR Pharmacist will be working varied 8h shifts M-F and every 4th weekend.

Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The OR Pharmacist will be working varied 8h shifts M-F and every 4th weekend.

REQUIRED:

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

PREFERRED:

1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
3. Good communication skills.
