Central Admixture Pharmacy, part of CAPS, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Norcross, GA for an onsite, part-time role. You will assist in preparing sterile IV medications in a 503A compounding pharmacy under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Schedule is part-time (9am-5:30pm) weekdays and weekends. Salary range is $18.00–$23.00/hr. GA license required; aseptic processing training preferred; B. Braun benefits apply.

Qualifikationen

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy is required.
• National Pharmacy Certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT) preferred.
• High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training provided.

Aufgaben

• Assist in preparing sterile IV medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Set up the compounding room, equipment and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions.
• Maintain a clean room and perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participate in quality assurance testing and document results.
• Adhere to CAPS policies and procedures and follow established guidelines.
