Job summary

Elevance Health in Virginia is seeking a Pharmacist Program Manager to lead communications for a pharmacy program and resolve PBM issues. The role is hybrid (in-office 1–2 days weekly) with EST alignment and a preference for candidates in Eastern time.

You will support the sales team and coordinate stakeholder responses to ensure program success. The position requires a BA/BS in Pharmacy, an unrestricted pharmacist license in applicable states, and at least two years in managed care pharmacy,

Position Title: Pharmacist Program Manager

Job Description: Shift: Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 5:00pm EST

Location: Candidates in Eastern time preferred. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

The Pharmacist Program Manager is responsible for serving as the primary contact for a specific pharmacy program which may be assigned by geographic location, business unit, or functional area.

How you will make an impact:

Manages both internal and external stakeholder communications for assigned area.

Minimum requirements:

Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years of managed care pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s) required.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:

Knowledge of current health care and managed care pharmacy practices strongly preferred.

Professional designation preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $127,120.00 to $190,680
