Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Pharmacist Program Manager to be the primary contact for a pharmacy program, assigned by geography or function. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 1–2 days per week and alignment with Eastern time; candidates outside a reasonable commuting distance may be considered with accommodations.

You will manage internal/external stakeholder communications, resolve issues in the pharmacy benefit program, and support sales to improve performance for existing accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of managed care pharmacy experience.
• Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s) required.

Job description

Shift: Monday – Friday. 8:00am – 5:00pm EST

Location: Candidates in Eastern time preferred. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

The Pharmacist Program Manager is responsible for serving as the primary contact for a specific pharmacy program which may be assigned by geographic location, business unit, or functional area.

• Acts as a support resource for the sales team regarding efforts to improve the performance of the pharmacy benefit for existing accounts.

Minimum requirements

• Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years of managed care pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s) required.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences

• Knowledge of current health care and managed care pharmacy practices strongly preferred.
• Professional designation preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $127,120.00 to $190,680
