Job summary

JobRx, Inc. in Concord, North Carolina seeks a pharmacist leader to oversee pharmacy operations including dispensing, scheduling, distribution, CQI, regulatory compliance and supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes pharmaceutical products, supplies and equipment.
  • Ensures CQI program compliance, licensure and regulatory requirements as they relate to pharmacy.
  • Assures appropriate clinical monitoring of patients.
  • Assists with pharmacy inventories.
  • Assist in obtaining/completing billing information and documentation.
  • Monitors Pharmacy CQI indicators.
  • Handles prescriptions, pick lists, drug profiles and related documents as required by law or company.
  • Ensures pharmacy compliance with HPC policies and procedures.
  • Conducts in-services as required/requested.
  • Participates in patient safety, quality and infection control programs as directed.
  • Performs additional workload as needed.

Job description

Primary Functions:

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, is responsible for the operations of the pharmacy including dispensing, scheduling, distribution, CQI, regulatory compliance and supervision of pharmacy personnel.


Major Responsibilities:


  1. Performs distribution of pharmaceutical products, ancillary supplies and equipment

  2. Ensures compliance with CQI program, licensure, and regulatory requirements as they relate to pharmacy

  3. Assures appropriate clinical monitoring of patients

  4. Assists with pharmacy inventories

  5. Assist in obtaining/completing billing information and documentation

  6. Pharmacy CQI indicators

  7. Prescriptions, pick lists, drug profiles, and other documents as required by law or company

  8. Ensures pharmacy compliance with HPC's policies and procedures

  9. Conducts in-services as required/requested

  10. Participates in patient safety, quality, and infection control programs as directed

  11. Required workload would be as needed
