Responsibilities

Overview

A-Line Staffing is hiring a PRN Pharmacist in Hudson, WI. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting pharmacy operations including dispensing, patient counseling, compounding, and supervising pharmacy staff.

Schedule (PRN / As Needed)

• Weekdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekends: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Coverage needs: weekend + PTO coverage
• Requirement: 2 scheduled weekend shifts per month (4-week rotation)
• On-call: 3–4 evenings per week
• After-hours on call when pharmacy is closed: Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 AM
• After-hours on call when pharmacy is closed: Weekends: 4:00 PM – 12:00 PM

On-Call Pay

• $75 per on-call night
• $75 per dispensing/on-call order
• Bonus $1,000 bonus after the employee is on payroll for 30 days from hire.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient and pharmacy records
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, dosage, and interactions
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Support clinical services (as applicable) such as smoking cessation, BP checks, cholesterol management
• Educate patients on medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)
• Compound medications (non-sterile compounding preferred)
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians/clerks) and manage inventory
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license (in good standing)
• Experience with on-call/overnight coverage strongly preferred
• Non-sterile compounding experience preferred
