Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a staff pharmacist to ensure accurate, age-appropriate preparation of medication orders and supervise technicians, interns, and students in a hospital setting. The pharmacist will support day-to-day operations and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include providing drug information to patients and staff, consulting on interactions and patient history, and maintaining required pharmacy data in compliance with regulatory procedures. SC licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy setting preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
