Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC seeks a Pharmacist for Per Diem/PRN shifts. You will oversee drug distribution, IV admixture, and central operations while supporting clinical hospital pharmacy activities in a fast-paced environment.

State licensure is required; Pharm D or BS Pharm with residency is preferred. Eligible for 401k after 1,000 hours within the first year. Join a team focused on exceptional patient care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.
• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
