Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a Pharmacist to join our inpatient post-ICU care team on a Per Diem/PRN basis. The role focuses on drug distribution, central operations, IV admixture, and clinical support in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will ensure adequate drug supplies, educate patients on discharge medications, and participate in staff training and drug therapy monitoring, while contributing to ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.
• Pharm D or BS Pharm with hospital residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Having working knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
