Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team in Florence, SC. You will manage drug distribution, IV admixture, and clinical support in a fast-paced clinical setting, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient safety.

The role emphasizes maintaining adequate drug supplies, educating patients on discharge medications, and contributing to training programs and quality improvement initiatives. Strong state licensure is required, with BLS per state needs.

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Inform and instruct patients on medications after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Location: Florence, SC (located inside of MUSC)

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $52.00 to $74.00 per hour

• As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
