Job summary

CompleteRx in New Mexico is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide safe, appropriate, and cost-effective drug therapies for patients, following established policies and hospital protocols.

The role involves interpreting drug orders, maintaining patient profiles, supervising pharmacy staff, and building strong relationships with physicians and nursing. NM licensure and 1 year of experience are preferred; 340B experience and immunization certification are a plus or willing to pursue.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
  • Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol.
  • Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
  • Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
  • Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing.

Pharmacy Operating Hours:
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm
  • This position will provide coverage as needed for call-outs, vacations, and holidays.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
  • One year of experience as a registered pharmacist preferred.
  • Retail 340B experience preferred.
  • APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification preferred or willing to become certified.
