Job summary

CompleteRx is hiring a Pharmacist for Christus Pharmacy, located inside Lowe's Signature Market in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This on-site position welcomes new graduates and offers cross-training in retail and inpatient settings.

The role emphasizes ensuring safe drug therapies, interpreting orders, and maintaining patient profiles while collaborating with physicians and nurses in a hospital-adjacent retail environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in New Mexico.
• One year of experience as a registered pharmacist preferred.
• Retail 340B experience preferred.
• APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification required or willing to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients per policies.
• Interpret drug orders and transcribe to patient profiles.
• Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and dosing per protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient medication profiles.
• Complete medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support staff as assigned by Pharmacy Director.
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nurses.

CompleteRx is growing and we are hiring a Pharmacist at Christus Pharmacy, located inside Lowe's Signature Market in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Location:

Alamogordo, New Mexico (North of El Paso and Las Cruces)

Position:

On-site (This is not a remote position.)

Not currently licensed in New Mexico? If you're a pharmacist willing to obtain your NM license, we encourage you to apply.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday: 8:15am - 5pm
• Closed for lunch everyday: 1:30pm - 2pm
• Closed on the weekends and six major holidays.

What You Will Do

• Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
• Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol.
• Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
• Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nurses.

What You Will Need

• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
• One year of experience as a registered pharmacist preferred.
• Retail 340B experience preferred.
• APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification required or willing to become certified.
