Qualifications

• Current Georgia pharmacy license with two years of professional pharmacy experience, OR a master’s degree in pharmacy.
• Current Georgia pharmacy license with at least one year of professional pharmacy experience.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s license.
• All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
• Provide 2 Professional references (Former employers only, no family members).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately based on prescriptions from authorized medical practitioners.
• Offer consultative services to clients and healthcare providers regarding medication use and safety.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to transfer medications into sterile syringes as required.
• Provide customer support by assisting with inquiries, answering calls, and ensuring professional service delivery.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
• Input medical and demographic data into the system, assisting in the preparation of reports.
• Accurately fill medication bottles, affix appropriate labels, and ensure proper documentation.
• Price and organize filled prescriptions for efficient retrieval.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of written and phoned-in prescription requests.
