Job summary
The State of Georgia, through the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, seeks a Pharmacist for Columbus to compound and dispense medications per physician prescriptions. You will provide consultative support to clients and healthcare providers to ensure safe and accurate dispensing.
Based at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital, the role requires licensure in Georgia and relevant pharmacology experience.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or professional degree in pharmacology from an accredited college or university.
- Current Georgia license to practice pharmacology.
- One year of professional pharmacology experience or two years at the lower level Pharmacist 2 (HCP151) or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Compounds and dispenses medications following prescriptions.
- Provides consultative services to clients and health care providers.
