Job summary

Select Specialty - Orlando South is a critical illness recovery hospital in Orlando, FL seeking a Pharmacist PRN for an on-site role with a per diem schedule (1 weekend per month, 1 holiday per year, and weekday coverage as needed). Compensation is $65.00 per hour.

Pharmacists will oversee drug distribution systems, central operations, IV admixture, and patient counseling on discharge medications. State licensure is required; a PharmD or BS Pharm with residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• State licensure required for practice in the applicable state.
• BLS if required by state.
• PharmD or BS Pharm with advanced degree or hospital pharmacy residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the hospital pharmacy.
• Educate patients on discharge medications.
• Develop and participate in employee training programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Support a culture of continuous quality improvement.
