Yale New Haven Health is seeking a pharmacist to support medication orders, compound and dispense medications, supervise technicians, and participate in rounding and CODE/Trauma cases.
You will assist with quality improvement projects, review Pyxis reports for cost-saving opportunities, and help with anticoagulation clinic staffing, while maintaining compliance with safety programs.

Assists with quality improvement projects, such as Drug Use Evaluations, analysis of interventions etc as requested by Pharmacy Leadership. The pharmacist reviews, interprets and verifies all medication orders and prescriptions received by the pharmacy. Additionally, the pharmacists compounds and dispenses medications and supervises pharmacy technicians and interns who do the same. The pharmacist will also assist with various clinical activities including rounding, attendance at CODE/Trauma cases, reviewing Pyxis reports for cost saving interventions, and staffing the anticoagulation clinic.
Education: Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacist, with hospital experience preferred.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification strongly encouraged.
