Responsibilities

We are currently hiring an experienced Pharmacist responsible for day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy under the direction of the Pharmacy Director.

Pharmacist (PRN) duties include:

• Ensures compliance to all federal and state regulations for controlled substances.
• Assures appropriate handling, documentation, and control of controlled substances.
• Maintains adequate medication supply.
• Assists Director of Clinical Services and Nursing with tracking medication errors and adverse drug reactions, and develops and implements improved procedures to minimize and prevent future adverse medication events.
• Ensures the integrity of the medication supply and establishes specifications for the procurement of medications, chemicals, and biologicals.

Qualifications

Registered Pharmacist. Licensed in the state of Georgia.
