Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Pharmacist to deliver expert pharmacy consulting to patients in a retail setting, including immunizations and medication management. You will educate patients on proper usage, safety, and cost-effective options, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

You will also mentor teammates, support a patient-focused culture, and collaborate with a team to provide accessible health services across Walgreens stores.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
