Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver clinical services such as immunizations and MTM. You will ensure safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance while mentoring pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment.

Eligible candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with active pharmacist licensure and an immunizer certification or willingness to obtain one within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
