Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in a patient-focused role. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver vaccines and other clinical services.

Maintain medication safety and compliance while mentoring teammates in a collaborative setting. Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active licensure, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
