Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, patient education, and clinical services including immunizations and MTM. You will ensure safe dispensing, mentor staff, and participate in a diverse, patient-centered care team.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, current state licensure, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days. Retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
