Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in a patient-focused care model. You will provide expert pharmaceutical consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management to improve outcomes.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and leadership within a retail pharmacy setting. A BS/PharmD and current licensure are required, with immunizer certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment.
