Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our patient-centered pharmacy team. You’ll provide counseling, ensure safe medication use, and support disease state management across our national network.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required; Injection and First Aid certification; Kroll experience is preferred. This role emphasizes compassionate care, regulatory compliance, and collaborative practice with Pharmacy Technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.
• Injection and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while prioritizing patient-centered care and clinical services.
• Provide patient counseling and education for new therapies to patients and caregivers.
• Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health and wellness services to all patients.
• Ensure prescription safety by prioritizing technical functions and delegating tasks as required.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
