Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in a patient-centered role. You will provide expert guidance on medications, educate patients on usage and costs, and deliver immunizations and medication management services.

Responsibilities also include ensuring safety through compliant dispensing, mentoring staff, and contributing to high-quality pharmacy operations. A BS in Pharmacy and active licensure are required, with immunizer certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
