Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management in a retail setting. You will ensure safe dispensing and regulatory compliance while supporting patient care and access.

Qualified candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, active pharmacist licensure, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
