Qualifications

• Pharmacist with strong customer service and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to store standards.
• Learn trade area and competition; support department goals.
• Present a positive department image with friendly service to customers and vendors.
• Monitor inventory, policies, record-keeping, security, scheduling, and equipment operation.
• Maintain proper records for scheduled drugs and compliance with laws.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from approved sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits as required.
• Maintain all policy manuals, reference books, and state laws; ensure staff knowledge.
• Keep signage updated and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy area.
• Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills; operate with or without reasonable accommodation.
