Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacist in Ohio to fulfill prescription needs with high accuracy, administer vaccines when needed, and provide thorough pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy of every prescription filled.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image through appearance and conduct, and ensure pharmacy standards are followed.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area, its customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service, friendliness and cooperation with customers, associates and vendors.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, policies, record keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, and equipment operation.
• Maintain records, inventory and security on all scheduled drugs (controlled substances).
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources; ensure accuracy tools are used.
• Maintain records and signage in all areas; ensure staff knowledge of use.
