Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill patients' prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and pharmacy standards.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area, customers and competition.
• Maintain records, inventory and security on scheduled drugs.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools and audits are used properly.
• Maintain and organize policy manuals and required equipment.
• Keep equipment in working condition and functioning properly.
• Verify staff knowledge of procedures and signage requirements.
