Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers prescription needs with emphasis on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company standards.
• Achieve knowledge of trade area, customers, and competition.
• Maintain stock replenishment, inventory, and related logs per policy.
• Maintain proper records, inventory, and security for scheduled drugs.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools are used appropriately.
• Establish/maintain record-keeping practices for compliance and reporting.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and counters.
• Maintain and organize policy manuals and reference materials.
