Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in a busy retail setting. You will focus on safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while serving as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with state regulations, ensuring prescription accuracy, engaging with patients, and coaching the team to deliver high quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing pharmacy operations in the manager's absence and coaching the team to improve performance.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Deliver immunizations and support pharmacy technicians to learn to immunize.
