Job summary

Tri-Med Family Care in Dalton, GA is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our growing Pharmacy team at the new Dalton site. The role involves preparing medications, providing drug information, and monitoring therapies to ensure safe, effective patient care. This position requires GA licensure, ACPE-accredited degree, and strong communication skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition and compliance with 340B and DEA

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program.
  • Valid GA pharmacist license or eligibility.
  • ACPE emergency contraception training or equivalent.
  • BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare medications and review physician orders.
  • Provide pharmacological information to patients and staff.
  • Monitor patient drug therapies and detect incompatibilities.
  • Dispense, label, and package medications accurately.
  • Manage 340B Drug Program and comply with DEA requirements.
  • Coordinate with technicians and supervise workflow.
