PharmcareUSA in West Chester, OH is seeking an energetic Full-Time Pharmacy Technician for overnight shifts. The role requires certification and good standing with the OH Board of Pharmacy, with long-term care data entry experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Data entry of physician orders and E-kit usage into the dispensing system.
• Manage admissions paperwork.
• Assist pharmacist with input, filling and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Perform filling and IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and speed.
• Fill prescriptions per regulatory rules and guidelines.
• Answer calls and route to pharmacist as needed.
• Prepare medications for delivery to facilities per delivery schedule.
• Assist with ordering medications and inventory management.
• Assist with medication returns and E-Kit management.

Description

We are seeking an energetic, Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to become part of our West Chester, OH team. This position is specifically for the overnight hours, scheduled 7 days on/ 7 days off.

Candidate must be a certified registered technician in good standing with the OH Board of Pharmacy. Prior long-term care pharmacy data entry is a plus!

Essential Functions:

• Data entry of physician orders and E-kit usage into the dispensing system
• Managing admissions paperwork
• Assist Pharmacist with input (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptions
• Perform all filling and / or IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and reasonable speed
• Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entities
• Answer telephone calls, assist caller when appropriate, or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriate
• Prepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery schedule
• Assist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory management
• Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;
• Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
• Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others with or without correction;
• This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping;
• Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
• Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications
