Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team on the night shift. You will interact with patients, healthcare staff, and families, dispense medications, review for interactions, transcribe orders, and serve as a drug information resource to support safe patient care.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor's degree, focused on patient safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and health care team members while maintaining professional standards in serving patients of all ages.
• Provide prescribed medications, drugs, and other supplies as needed for appropriate patient care according to professional standards and practices.
• Check for drug interactions, allergies or contraindications for medication.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties.
• Transcribe physician prescriptions and medication orders into the CPCS system to generate a label for medication distribution.
• Act as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel. You will serve as a patient therapeutic advocate with efforts directed toward continuous quality improvement of pharmacy services
