Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead a team of pharmacists and technicians in day-to-day dispensing operations and workflow management in Utah.

The role includes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with laws, optimizing performance, and handling on-call responsibilities. A Utah PharmD/B.S. and licensure plus 3 years’ experience are required.

Formación

• B.S or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy required.
• At least 3 years' relevant experience.
• Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prior people management experience preferred.
• Pharmacist License in Utah in good standing.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work with other departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to obtain additional state licensures as required by business need.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day prescription dispensing in the fulfillment center.
• Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry.
• As Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws relating to pharmacy practice and supervision of staff.
• Schedule and monitor staff and day-to-day workflow.
• Develop employees' skills, evaluate performance and provide feedback.
• Oversee resolution of employee relations.
• Conduct hiring, training and evaluation of staff.
• Develop, track and monitor employees’ quality, service and production standards.
• Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and client guarantees.
• Assist Senior Pharmacy Manager in monitoring costs to ensure cost-to-fill goals.
• Address staff concerns and operational, system, customer service, quality and professional issues.
• Serve as escalation point for issues requiring high expertise.
• Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects.
• On-Call Responsibilities.
