Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Minnesota in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking a pharmacist to join our team. You will prepare medications for dispensing, review orders, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and supervise technicians to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
1+ years of related experience.
Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.

Responsibilities

Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to the patient, including filling, order entry, and packaging.
Review completed orders and cycle‑fill medications to ensure prescriptions were filled correctly.
Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing a drug based on patients' allergies and other factors.
Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment for patient safety and legal compliance.
Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and compounding guidelines.
Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed and answer questions from patients and clinicians.
Oversee the work of technicians and provide feedback to supervision.
Log all error medication occurrences.
