Qualifications

RPh or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution required
Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Maryland required
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing pharmacy teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Lead pharmacy production and workflow.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance.
Perform medication reviews, reconciliation, and clinical interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, patients, and residential staff.
Identify medication-related problems and recommend therapy optimization.
Ensure compliance with all federal, DEA, HIPAA, CMS, and Maryland Board of Pharmacy requirements.
Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement.
