Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Meijer Pharmacy team.

You will fill prescriptions safely, maintain positive relationships with patients and team members, and oversee pharmacy operations in the pharmacist-in-charge absence. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy, are registered/licensed in the state, and have a working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, and state/federal laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Oversee operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services where allowed, including immunizations.
