Job summary

Hannaford is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to lead the in-store pharmacy operations at Hannaford in New Hampshire. The role involves immunizations, patient counseling, and supervising pharmacy staff, while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

The position requires an active pharmacist license, immunization certification, and the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required
• Current license in good standing in the state(s) in which to practice.
• Current and active immunizing pharmacist certification.
• Complete knowledge of state and Federal laws pertaining to pharmacy practices.
• Desire to be a motivated caring professional with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, other health care professionals, and the community at large.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule consistent with a stimulating retail environment, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and provide direction to associates.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Authorization to fill Medicare and Medicaid prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and other associates.
• Oversee professional and operational functions of the pharmacy.
• Identify in-store sales and marketing opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Supervise duties and performance of all pharmacy staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing and training of pharmacy staff.
• Follow company policies and the Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual.
• Administer immunizations per standard practice.
• Maintain neat personal appearance per policy.
• Maintain clear communication within the department and organization.
• Work within MPP guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support safety standards; report repairs and keep area clean and safe.
