Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, patient-centered care at our retail location. You will oversee dispensing, counseling, and immunization activities while ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards.

You will collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and staff to maintain accurate medication labeling, manage inventory, and resolve insurance issues to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing and counseling.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during shifts.
• Assuming the Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as sole pharmacist on duty.
• Supporting safe prescription fulfillment and following workflow procedures.
