Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Utah seeks a pharmacist to fulfill prescription needs with precision and deliver high-quality patient counseling and pharmaceutical care. You will ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable laws while maintaining a professional image and department standards.

You will also monitor stock, safety, and store procedures, build knowledge of the local trade area, and foster strong teamwork with associates and vendors to support exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with a focus on accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image and ensure pharmacy standards and dress policy adherence.
• Develop knowledge of the trade area, its customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service and cooperation with customers, associates and vendors.
