Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Old Town, ME to lead the pharmacy department and provide exceptional patient care. You will partner with store management to optimize operations and deliver immunizations and clinical services.

The role requires ongoing compliance with state and federal laws, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacists must have earned a PharmD and be licensed to practice.
• Immunization certification is required; knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and associates to operate the pharmacy.
• Identify store-level sales and marketing opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Supervise the duties and responsibilities of all pharmacy staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing and training of pharmacy personnel.
• Perform immunizations according to Company standards.
• Maintain compliance with Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual.
• Maintain clear communication within the department and organization.
• Support safety standards and report equipment issues.
