Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health’s purpose by ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
• Oversee the pharmacy as proxy during shifts, coaching the team and reporting to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager duties when the pharmacist-on-duty is the lead.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and safeguard patient safety at every workstation.
• Provide empathetic patient care and resolve insurance/medication issues with the team.
• Offer immunizations and support technicians in immunization training.
• Manage inventory with focus on cold chain products and stock accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
