Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
• Overseeing the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts, coaching and following up with staff
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, and coaching the team to do the same
• Proactively offering and delivering immunizations and supporting staff to immunize
• Maintaining pharmacy inventory with focus on cold chain protection
• Ensuring operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalating issues as needed
• Writing the pharmacy schedule as directed and maintaining trainings/CMEs
• Supporting access to care and pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible
