CVS Health Corporation in Washington (Puyallup) seeks a Staff Pharmacist to join our on-site pharmacy team. This full-time role supports the Pharmacy Manager, ensures safe dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and compliance with regulations.

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Living CVS Health values by providing safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts and coach staff.
Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and adherence to safety procedures at all times.
Deliver compassionate patient care and resolve insurance or medication issues with patients and providers.
Support immunization services and training of Pharmacy Technicians.
Maintain inventory with emphasis on cold chain protection and proper stock management.
Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
Contribute to scheduling and team dynamics to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain clinical and technical skills through ongoing trainings and CME opportunities.
