Responsibilities include prescription verification, inventory management, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree or PharmD and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and active license required.
• Pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing and packaging.
• Review orders and cycle-fill to ensure accuracy.
• Verify feasibility and safety based on allergies and drug interactions.
• Interpret prescriptions with professional judgment for safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Pharmacy regulations and compounding guidelines.
• Transfer prescriptions as needed and answer questions from patients and providers.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Log error medication occurrences and maintain quality control.
